Gray Clevenger

After graduating from Chapman University with a degree in film production, emphasis in editing, I moved to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue my passion for editing. I was able to hone my skills and style early on by editing music videos and commercials for clients like Theophilus London and Red Bull Media House. During this time I cut multiple award winning feature films that can be seen on platforms such as Amazon Prime and Tubi. After editing commercial campaigns and some pilots, I became the lead editor of a reality production company before deciding that I wanted to move into the documentary world. From there I have worked on award winning documentary projects that have won multiple Sports Emmy awards and several that have premiered at the Tribeca International Film Festival.

I am someone who likes to explore the world to gain perspective and to hear different people’s voices. This allows me to bring an open mind as well as a focus into the editing room to tell the best, most compelling story possible. Telling people’s stories is my passion, whether narrative or documentary, nothing beats it when an audience truly connects with what you are showing them on the screen.
